Preity’s Silks (A Unit of Preity’s Fashion) was founded in 2015 by Soumya Arbind, a first generation woman entrepreneur.
The journey began with her tryst for sarees, especially the exquisite Mysore Silks.
What began as a child’s passion for Mysore Silk in her mother’s wardrobe, turned into entrepreneurial journey of assisting every other woman to own a Mysore Silk saree.
“Having grown up in a family with a strong entrepreneurial influence, especially from my dad, I felt the calling to establish my own business. However, with the responsibilities of raising two young kids, launching a full-fledged business was not immediately feasible. Hence, I decided to start with an online model.”
